2025 End-of-Year Roundup: What You Loved Most on MOOZ

MOOZ in Numbers 2025

2025 was a year of growth, sound, and real teaching moments at MOOZ.
Thousands of music teachers chose MOOZ not just as another video tool, but as a space where online lessons finally sound the way they should. Together, we helped music education move forward — lesson by lesson, note by note.

2025 at MOOZ: A Few Numbers We’re Proud Of

This year, the MOOZ community grew faster than ever — and more importantly, it stayed deeply engaged.

2005 at MOOZ in Numbers
  • 40,000+ teacher registrations in 2025
From independent tutors to music schools building full online programs.

  • Educators from 80+ countries worldwide
MOOZ is used in home studios, classrooms, and conservatories across the globe.

  • 1,000+ music lessons happening every day
Real lessons. Real students. Real sound — every single day.

Behind every number is a teacher explaining a tricky rhythm, a student hearing progress for the first time, and a musician passing on their craft.

What We Shipped in 2025

2025 was not just about growth — it was about building better tools for real music. We focused on three things that matter most for music teaching: sound quality, lesson flow, and teacher control.

Here are the most important updates we rolled out this year:

  • A rebuilt audio engine. Now you can change tempo or pitch in real time — slow down, speed up, or transpose with zero lag and perfect sync.
  • Sound that just works. Your lessons got louder, clearer audio with fewer dropouts and smoother device setup.
  • MIA — the MOOZ Intelligent Assistant. Here’s your own music helper that saves the prep time and instantly shares exercises, warm-ups, practice ideas, and helps with theory directly inside the app.
  • Advanced tools for students. Audio player, metronome, virtual piano, and file sharing are now available for both sides.
  • A faster, cleaner lesson flow. So that you can experience a refreshed interface, quicker entry — and yes, the lesson timer is back.
  • Kids mode & dark theme. Focused lessons for younger students and eye-friendly teaching for long days.

Each release was guided by feedback from educators and musicians who use MOOZ every day. The updates were designed to remove friction — so both teachers and students can focus on music, not settings.

What You Used the Most in 2025

In 2025, a few tools clearly became your favorites. Here are the top 5 most-used tools on MOOZ:

Tools for Online Music Lessons | MOOZ

These tools weren’t built to impress — they were built to solve everyday teaching problems.

Growing Together with Schools and Partners

This year, we worked closely with music schools, educational organizations, and partners to support long-term programs.

In 2025, we introduced MOOZ for Schools — dedicated plans designed specifically for music organizations. These plans help schools run online programs at scale, with centralized management, consistent lesson quality, and tools built for real music teaching.

Today, 30+ music organizations already teach on MOOZ — from independent schools to larger educational programs.

MOOZ partners

From onboarding full teaching teams to adapting MOOZ to institutional workflows, 2025 marked an important step toward making professional online music education accessible and sustainable at scale.

What’s Coming Next

We’re heading into 2026 with a clear roadmap — and a lot of exciting features already in progress.
Here’s a preview of what’s coming next on MOOZ:

  • Group lessons — to teach and manage multiple students in one session
  • MIDI drum kit support — to bring rhythm sections and percussion teaching fully online
  • Built-in guitar tuner — for quick, accurate tuning without leaving the lesson
  • Whiteboard — to explain theory, form, and ideas visually in real time
  • Teacher management tools — scheduling, student management, and lesson organization in one place

Our focus remains the same: build tools that support how music educators really work — whether you’re teaching one student or running an entire music school.

Built by a Team That Cares About Sound

MOOZ is built by a team of 40+ people — engineers, designers, product specialists, sound experts, and musicians.

Many of us play instruments, sing, or perform ourselves, so we know firsthand that music lessons are not just conversations. They’re about timing, nuance, tone, and feel. That’s why everything we build starts with one question: Does this actually work for real music education?

We want to personally thank everyone who made this year possible — teachers, students, partners, and the entire MOOZ community.

Happy New Year from MOOZ

Looking Ahead to 2026

This year, you turned practice into progress and lessons into music.

Teachers set the tempo, students found their rhythm, and musicians filled the year with sound — and we’re grateful to play a part in it.

May 2026 be perfectly in tune: steady growth, inspired lessons, and beautiful sound in every session. Thank you for teaching, learning, and making music with MOOZ!
Happy New Year! 🎶✨

If you’re not with MOOZ yet, now is the perfect time to join and become part of a growing community of music teachers and schools who are reshaping online music education!
